Supernatural Festival 2017 Artist Series: Black Tiger Sex Machine

Posted: 10.23.2017

BTSM! BTSM! Coming from the great city of Montreal, QC, Canada, Black Tiger Sex Machine is a trio made up of Marc Chagnon, Julien Maranda and Patrick Barry who came together in 2011 to create their own brand of electro bass music. The trio combine aggressive, rock-influenced bass lines as well as edgy synths with fast house-like drum beats to create a “futuristic thriller” type of experience for their “Church Squad,” a group of dedicated fans that formed throughout the group's uprising. Their infamous black tiger helmets, which are customly made with LEDS, are also synced to their unique graphics in their part DJ-set, part Live-set shows, and have also created BTSM’s signature post-apocalyptic appearance. BTSM are also the founders of the popular dubstep and bass record label, Kannibalen Records, and have signed many artists such as Snails, Kai Wachi, Apashe, and many others. With support from their loyal fanbase, BTSM have no intention of slowing down. Having already released three EP’s in the past two years, as well as playing over ten shows in Italy, France, and Germany, this dark-electro trio is not a show you would want to miss!

Stay Safe at Supernatural Festival 2017

Posted: 10.18.2017

Attention our dancing spirits! As we approach the Colorado’s largest Halloween party, we want to be sure you are able to keep up with the revelry at the debut of Supernatural Festival 2017 in style and safety. Check out our tips for having the most safe and bumping evening possible!

1. Drink LOTS of water. Hydration is key during our frightful night full of hours of dancing.

2. Eat well before the show! Even goblins, ghouls, witches, and sexy pirates need nourishment. You’ll probably be so excited that food will be the last thing on your mind; but food is fuel and a properly fueled body will result in greater stamina for dancing and prevent upset stomachs over the course of the night. Food is available at the venue, but eating something healthy before you enter is your best bet at going 100% all night long!

3. Look out for each other! This scene was founded with the principles of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. If you see someone that looks like they’re having a hard time, get them some water and get them medical attention. Don’t be worried about getting in trouble, Colorado’s Good Samaritan law exempts anyone helping someone get medical attention from ANY liability.
