Global Dub Festival
The past few years have truly been a landmark time for dance music in Colorado. The success of massive events including Global Dance Festival and Decadence NYE have put Colorado on the map as one of the biggest hubs for dance music in the United States. The dance music community in Denver is growing at an exceptional rate while still maintaining cohesion and open-mindedness. What is truly amazing, however, is how much Colorado has embraced and supported dubstep in the past few years. Some of the biggest and most anticipated shows in recent years have been dubstep artists and many of the biggest names in dubstep have referred to Colorado as the 'Dubstep Capital of the US'. It is remarkable to see an underground genre of music gain so much momentum so quickly. Colorado's support and enthusiasm has truly helped push the genre to new heights.
Because of Colorado's massive support for dubstep, we are excited to announce a whole new dubstep-exclusive festival: Global Dub Festival. Global Dub Festival will be the first event of its kind at Red Rocks Amphitheater on May 18th featuring some of the biggest names in dubstep: Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, Datsik, Downlink, & Dirtyloud. We are thrilled to bring this special event to our avid dubstep fans and experience all the crushing bass and thundering beats in one of the world's most amazing venues!
