Starting 18 years ago, we have explored many strange new worlds and charted unexplained phenomenon on our Skylab missions.  We have launched to the outer limits of our universe and found adventure amidst the sparkling stars of our galaxy. Skylab 2012 is getting ready to launch and this time we are traveling into uncharted territory.  We are preparing to venture into unexplored space enveloped by darkness, overcome by a blackout.

But this blackout is not a desert void of life.  Beneath the darkness, we encounter new creatures that bear a resemblance to creatures from the light. This is a mission we must embark on as one, prepared for the unexpected. 
It is time to embrace the darkness.
It is time for Mission Blackout!

     

This years Skylab will be a black attire theme party.  We invite you all to take part and come dressed in theme.  What kind of creature will you turn into when you embrace the darkness?

Our hearts go out to our friends and neighbors here in the Colorado community who are affected by this senseless act of violence. As a Colorado based company, this incident is especially personal and serves as an unwelcomed reminder that life is so very fragile. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have been impacted by this tragedy. For the fans joining us tonight at Global Dance Festival, we will be observing a moment of silence at 8:30 to honor the victims and their families.

Global Dance Festival began as a 1-day, 2-artist, 3,000 person event a decade ago but has since evolved into the biggest dance music festival in the Rocky Mountain region. This year, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Global Dance Festival with three days, three stages, and over 30,000 global dancers for the biggest dance music event Colorado has ever seen. Over 70 artists will be performing at Red Rocks this year, making it the biggest lineup yet. We're bringing some of our most requested artists such as Above & Beyond, Excision, and Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia as well as some brand new talent including Knife Party & Krewella, guaranteeing a weekend packed with incredible dance music under the Colorado night sky. Next month, Global Dance Festival travels across the country bringing some of the biggest names in dance music to the midwest and beyond. Stopping in Detroit, Minneapolis, and Kanas City along the way, Global Dance Festival ends with the flagship event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 20th, 21st, and 22nd!
